How to Enter

1.1 “Craft Your Change for Earth” Facebook Contest (“the Contest”) is open to all Malaysians, permanent residents of Malaysia with a valid Residence Pass aged 18 and above as at the date of participating (“the Participant or Participants”).
1.2 The representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of the organiser (including its affiliates and/or related companies), and their immediate family members (children, parents, siblings, including spouse) shall not be eligible to participate in the Contest.
1.3 Entries submitted using multiple accounts, fake accounts or accounts not belonging to the Participant may be disqualified at the organiser’s discretion.
2.1 The Contest will commence from 13 April 2026 at 12.00am to 31 May 2026 at 11.59 pm (GMT+8) (“Contest Period”).
2.2 The organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion vary, change or extend the Contest Period at any time without prior notice. Unless otherwise varied to the contrary by the organiser, all participation in the Contest shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions set out herein which shall remain in full force and effect at all times. Entries received outside the Contest Period shall automatically be disqualified.
3.1
a. Create an innovative item using recyclable materials.
b. Participants must submit their entry by posting a photograph together with a caption (maximum 50 words) explaining how the creation helps protect the Earth, in the comment section of the official Contest post.
3.2 The photos taken by the Participant shall adhere with the following:
a. Photos must be original works taken by the Participant and have not been published/exhibited elsewhere.
b. Photos must clearly depict an environmental action or initiative to protect the environment.
c. Photos should be in digital format (both colour and monochrome photos).
d. Photos must be in its original state and cannot be altered in anyway including but not limited to removing, adding, reverting or distorting subjects within the frame except for slight adjustment on brightness, contrast or color.
e. Photos must not be edited or manipulated which would be misrepresented for any action shown.
f. Photos must not infringe any trademarks, copyright, patent or any other intellectual property rights of any third party.
g. Photos must not be subject to any claim, opposition, assertion of infringement of any trademarks, copyright, patent or any other intellectual property rights by any third party.
h. Photos shall not show or represent any specific brands, companies or organization.
i. The content of the photos shall not be inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory (religion, race, descent or place of birth) or vulgar.
j. Entries must not contain any dangerous, illegal or unsafe activities.
3.3 Prizes for this Contest are:-
Each mall will award five (5) winners with prizes worth RM200 each
4.1 This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Participants agree to release Facebook from any liability related to the Contest.
4.2 In the event of a tie, the organiser reserves the right to determine the winner at its sole discretion.
5.1 Winners for the Prizes in the Contest will be judged based on the following criteria:
a. Visual Impact (25%) – Composition, lighting, and overall aesthetic quality
b. Creativity & Originality (25%) – Unique perspective or approach to environmental action
c. Communication effectiveness (50%) – convey the environmental message clearly in an engaging way
5.2 The organizer shall select the best photo to be determined as the winner of the Contest. The organiser and its panel of judges reserve their absolute right to assess and determine each and every submission during the selection process.
5.3 Selected winner(s) of the Prizes in the Contest will be contacted based on the contact information provided in Facebook via Facebook Messenger. In the event the organiser is unable to contact the selected winner(s) after three (3) attempts, the organiser reserves the right to forfeit eligibility of the shortlisted winners(s) and select the next eligible Participant as the shortlisted winner and the non-contactable shortlisted winner(s) shall have no claim whatsoever against the organiser on the cancellation and the forfeiture.
5.4 All Prizes are given are non-exchangeable, non-transferable or non-redeemable for cash, credit, other items or voucher, in part or in full. The organiser makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the Prizes and shall not be responsible nor liable for any problems and/or damage there to or arising there from.
5.5 Each Participant may submit as many entries as he/she wishes but each Participant (if shortlisted as winner) is entitled to only one (1) Prize in the Contest during the Contest Period.
5.6 The values of the prize(s) are accurate at the time of the publication of these Terms and Conditions. The organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the prizes with alternative prizes of similar value, at any time without prior notice.
5.7 All entries must be received by the organiser latest by 31 May 2026, 11:59pm. Any entries received after the stipulated time will be rejected and deemed invalid.
5.8 Winners will be announced within 21 days after the end of the Contest Period.
5.9 The Participant is responsible for any and all taxes payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received (if applicable).
5.10 In the event that the Participant chooses not to accept or collect the Prize, fails to show up during the agreed time of Prize collection or fails to collect the Prize by the stipulated timeline, the Prize shall be forfeited and the Prize will be dealt at the absolute discretion of the organiser and/or the organiser reserve its right to select the next eligible Participant as the winner.
5.11 All Prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the Participant and are awarded by the organiser without any warranty of any kind express or implied. The Participant shall execute a deed of release and indemnity in a form prescribed by the organiser, if so required, in order to receive the Prize.
5.12 The Participant and winner shall assume full liability and responsibility for any liability, unexpected event, injury, damage, claim or accident (including death) caused by their participation in this Contest and/or redemption and/or use of the prizes and agree to release the organiser and its agencies from any claim whatsoever for any injury, accident, loss of life nor loss of economy and others, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5.13 To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall the organiser or any of its officer, employee, representative and/or agent (including, any third party agencies engaged for the purposes of this Contest) be liable for any loss or damage (including loss of income, profits or goodwill or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise in connection with the Contest, even if the organiser has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5.14 The organiser reserves the absolute right to remove and/or disqualify any Participant and/or entries that it determines to be abusing, tampering or in violation with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in breach or violation or potential breach or violation of the Contest’s Terms and Conditions.
5.15 To the extent permitted by law, the organiser, its affiliates and/or authorized third parties shall accept no liability or responsibility for any entries lost, damaged, delayed due to computer, IT or any technical error.
5.16 The organiser’s decision on selection of winners is final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence, inquiries, appeal, objection or dispute pertaining to the decision made by the organiser will be entertained.
6.1 The Participant grants the organizer a non-, worldwide, royalty free license to use, reproduce, publish and display the submitted entries for marketing and promotional purposes.
6.2 The Participant hereby consent and authorized the organizer to use the photos in any manner including but not limited to:
a. reproduce the photos in any material form, performs, shows or plays or distributes to the public;
b. import any photos for the purpose of trade or financial gains; and/or
c. exhibits the photos in public.
6.3 The Participant shall be responsible and assume full liability and responsibility for any liability or claims alleging any infringement of trademarks, copyright, patent or any other intellectual property rights of any third party in connection with the Contest.
6.4 In the event that the Participant is aware of any infringement of any trademarks, copyright, patent or any other intellectual property rights of any third party, the Participant shall inform the organizer as soon as possible.
6.5 The Participant shall indemnify and hold the organiser harmless from and against all claims, demands, proceedings, damages, costs, charges, loss and expenses whatsoever for or on account of any infringement of any trademarks, copyright, patent or any other intellectual property rights of any third party in connection with the Contest.
7.1 By entering the Contest, the Participant agrees that the organiser may use, publish and display the Participant’s name, photograph and/or submitted entry for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
7.2 By entering the Contest, each Participant is deemed to have read, understood and agree to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions of the Contest set out herein, including any other requirements set out in any Contest related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications thereto as may be made from time to time.
7.3 Where necessary, the organiser reserves the right to amend, modify or delete any content and information regarding the Contest including these Terms and Conditions where necessary and any such amendments shall be effective on the date of posting on the Contest website. Please check these terms and conditions regularly to see if there have been any changes.
7.4 The organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Contest at any time without prior notice in the event that it becomes incapable of running as planned, technically interfered or corrupted, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the organiser, despite the best efforts of the organiser.
7.5 Any terms and conditions applicable to the Contest which is illegal, prohibited or unenforceable under any law or regulation shall be ineffective to the extent of such illegality, voidness, prohibition or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions.
7.5 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.
8.1 By participating in the Contest, the Participant agrees and consents to the collection, use and processing of his/her personal data by the organiser for purposes of administering the Contest, including verification of entries, selection and notification of winners, and publicity in connection with the Contest.
8.2 The Participant agrees that the organiser may publish the Participant’s name, photograph and/or submitted entry for promotional and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
8.3 The organiser will take reasonable steps to ensure that the Participant’s personal data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9.1 The Participant acknowledges that the organiser is committed to conducting its business in an ethical manner and expects all its employees and parties with which it has a contractual relationship to conduct themselves and/or their business with high ethical standards and to comply with applicable laws for the suppression of corrupt practices (“Anti-Corruption Laws”).
9.2 The Participant, represents and warrants that, to the best of its knowledge, neither it nor any person who (by reference to all relevant circumstances) performs services or acts for or on behalf the Participant in any capacity (including, without limitation, employees, agents, related corporations, and subcontractors) (“Representatives”) has contravened, or procured or encouraged third parties (including, for the avoidance of doubt, the employees or any person acting on the organiser’s behalf) to contravene any Anti-Corruption Laws in connection with the Contest.
9.3 The Participant shall immediately notify the organiser if, any person employed by the organiser or acting on the organiser’s behalf or any of the Participant’s Representatives, has contravened or attempted to contravene any Anti-Corruption Laws in connection with the Contest, and shall take appropriate steps to protect the interests of both the Participant and the organiser. All notices to the organiser in this regard relating to the organiser should be sent to the following email address Whistleblowing.ACChair@capitaland.com.
9.4 The organiser shall be entitled to reject any entries of a Participant forthwith if the Participant or any of its Representatives has contravened or attempted to contravene any Anti-Corruption Laws, whether in connection with the Contest or otherwise. Such rejection shall be without prejudice to the organiser’s other rights and remedies whether under the Contest or otherwise.
